Funding Priorities

Thank you for your interest in United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra.

This is what you can make happen with a grant of $1,000 to $10,000.

United Way's Familywize prescription discount cards help people who have no health insurance, during deductible periods and for prescriptions not covered by insurance, Medicare, and other benefit plans.  The card can only be provided by United Way and there is no qualifying, waiting period, requirements, or cost to either United Way or the person using the card.

Since its inception in northern Nevada, the Familywize program has saved people over $1.8 million.

• Funding for United Way's Familywize program will help with outreach efforts to some of the harder to reach areas in our region.
