With your help, we will double the number of children in Northern Nevada reading at grade level by 3rd grade before 2020 Give and Volunteer

There are many ways you can get involved with United Way --  Whether it's being involved in making grant decisions, working with our fundraising projects, or helping with events, we need you!  Here are some ideas:

  • Start a project with your co-workers over this summer and collect school supplies for kids who need them.
  • Spearhead the creation of a Born Learning Trail in your neighborhood so kids nearby can discover how easy it is to learn and have fun at the same time.
  • Help people throughout the community get more money in their pocket by becoming a Volunteer Income Tax Assistant.
  • Become a Community Impact volunteer working together with other volunteers in addressing the most pressing issues that affect the quality of life in our community.  Their conscientious efforts and decisions are driven by a commitment to make a real difference in the community we share and serve.
