DPIL PROGRAM ON PAUSE
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program in Northern Nevada is temporarily on pause as we work to secure the funding necessary to sustain and continue this vital service for families in our region. This decision was not made lightly. We understand the significant impact this program has on early literacy, school readiness, and fostering a lifelong love of reading by delivering free, high-quality books directly to children’s homes each month.
At this time, we are actively pursuing new funding opportunities in partnership with the Rotary Clubs of Reno and Sparks and The Nevada Reading Colation. Our goal is to ensure the long-term success of the program in Northern Nevada. While the program is paused, no new enrollments will be accepted, and current distributions are temporarily suspended. We remain deeply committed to bringing Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library back to our community as soon as possible.
