United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra Receives $35,000 Grant from U.S. Bank Foundation
RENO, NV – United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra (UWNNS), a nonprofit organization that focuses meeting the needs of the community, today announced it has received a $35,000 grant from the U.S. Bank Foundation. The grant will be used to further UWNNS’ mission of living united for impact in Northern Nevada.
“This grant from the U.S. Bank Foundation shows its commitment to meeting community needs in Northern Nevada, and we are honored that it continues to stand united with us to continue efforts to change lives,” said Blake Pang, CEO/President of UWNNS.
Programs run by United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra include United Readers, United Readers: Building Block, Nevada Ready Pre-K, and Dolly Parton Imagination Library, and the Emergency Food & Shelter Program.
