How to Run a Workplace Campaign

Hundreds of businesses in our region have joined the movement and host workplace campaigns to benefit United Way of northern Nevada and the Sierra. Our Community Campaign is largely orchestrated through the generous support of community volunteers better known as Employee Campaign Managers. 

By hosting a workplace campaign at your place of business, you will engage your coworkers and employees in community need and concerns, build or contribute to your corporate social responsibility program and strengthen communities ties through collaboration and camaraderie.

A United Way campaign is customizable – we will help design an experience for your employees that works best for you. We have tools and resources to help your company facilitate a simple, fun and effective workplace campaign, including:

  • Information and materials to share about United Way

  • Tips and best practices for engaging employees in the spirit of giving

  • A simple system for employees to give via payroll deduction

  • Support from our team of Community Executives
